Pipelines,
not vibes.

Hey! I'm Jian Ron (陈渐荣), a Computer Science undergrad at NUS who fell in love with the plumbing of software: pipelines, infra, and the systems that keep things running.

Right now I'm doing SRE at Central Provident Fund Board, working on Azure infrastructure serving 4M+ CPF members. Outside internships, I help run Sheares Web at my hall, leading 16 developers shipping tools used by 400+ residents.

When I'm not staring at Terraform plans, I'm probably tinkering with my poker bot or losing to it.

AllIn ♠

Heads-up poker bot built on CFR: a 200K info-set blueprint trained over 50M self-play iterations, with a blueprint-anchored river solver that runs CFR live on high-stakes decisions. Productionised on AWS behind Cloudflare with OIDC-based CI/CD.

Chess position with an engine explanation panel

Chess Engine ♞

A RAG pipeline that grounds LLM chess explanations in Stockfish analysis and retrieved human commentary, so the "why" behind a move is backed by an engine, not vibes. Work in progress.
